VIETNAMESE FRIED EGG BANH MI

Fried eggs Banh Mi is a Vietnamese classic breakfast recipe. The recipe is delicious, simple, and here are tips to get that perfect sunny side up!


Ingredients:

  • Eggs
  • Traditional O’Smiles Banh Mi
  • Scallion & pepper
  • Optional:  Use a round mini non-stick pan for a perfectly round egg

Directions:

  1. Bake O’Smiles’ Banh Mi in an oven or an air fryer (remember to preheat the Oven before baking bread)
    Crusty crust, soft and airy texture: 180°C for 5 MINUTES
    Super crusty: 200°C for 5 MINUTES
  2. Put a little oil in the pan and wait until it heats up with medium heat
  3. Once you have beaten the eggs 
  4. Plate your eggs or on-the-go vietnamese egg sandwich
  5. Add pepper and scallion to garnish
  6. Add soy sauce and chilli sauce (optional), get your bread and let’s dig in!

 

Tips:

  • If you don’t have much time in the morning, cut the banh mi in half, add all of the toppings and you are ready to go!
