JAPANESE CURRY BANH MI

Japanese Curry Bread is a super delicious dish that combines Vietnamese culinary culture and Japanese culinary culture.
 

Ingredients:

  1. Bake O'Smiles' Banh Mi in an oven or air fryer (remember to preheat the oven before baking Banh Mi). Bake at 200°C for 5 MINUTES
  2. In a container, put together cashew oil, spices, garlic and half a head of minced onion. Combine the mixture and the beef, let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a pot over medium-high heat, add in onion, garlic, lemongrass, ginger, and curry powder. Stir frequently to bring out the flavor in garlic and onion. Then, put in the marinated beef and stir-fry (in about 10 minutes) until the beef surface turns golden brown.
  4. Fill the pot with coconut water, add in star anise, cinnamon, and tomato. Bring to boil and reduce heat, simmer for 30 minutes.
  5. Finally, add carrots and onions. Cook over medium heat until tender.
